The workshops currently employ seven full or part-time restorers who have been trained in textiles or related fields, and have all undertaken extensive practical and theoretical training in-house. The restorers are sent on appropriate training courses and to conservation conferences in order that they keep abreast of the national and international professional standards currently accepted in the field of conservation.
